Sign Up and PayPal Help

Internet Explorer 7 Issue.

If you find that you cannot signup to the Members Area or purchase items from our shop and you are using Internet Explorer 7 as your web browser you will need to follow the instructions below before trying to sign up again.

Firstly if you have a choice of web browser software on your computer then just use a different one such as Netscape , Firefox or even Internet Explorer 6 as these are not effected. If not then please follow these instructions.

Open up your web browser (Internet Explorer 7 ) as you would normally do to view the web
Click  'Tools' on the right hand side of the window near the top or from the menu's near the top of the screen.
Click 'Internet Options' from the drop down list.
Click on the 'Security' tab
Click on the green tick and then click the 'Sites Button' bellow it.
Type https://www.paypal.com in to the top box make sure that the Require Server Verification (https:) box is unticked.
And finally click the 'ADD' button and then close both boxes

It seems that there is an, as yet, unresolved issue between Internet Explorer 7 and the PayPal payment system where by Internet Explorer blocks some or the PayPal functionality. This means that you might not be able to progress through the signup process or you may receive an error regarding an invalid code or details.

Login Help

Problem
If you enter your login details, click login and you receive the error message ' Details Not Found '

Solution- Check your details are correct and that you are not mistakenly using a PayPal password.
Make sure that you are entering your login details correctly and keep in mind that your details are case sensitive. Also, if you signed up using PayPal do not confuse your PayPal account password with your Members Area password. Your PayPal password will look something like pp-rungrout. This Paypal account is only used when you want to view or cancel your subscription. To log in the Members Area you will need to enter the username (email address) and the password that you chose yourself when signing up. If in doubt you can find your login details on one of the emails you received when you subscription was confirmed.

Make sure that you are entering the email address that you stated when you signed up.
Some people use more than one email address. Make sure that you did not mistype your email address when you signed up. It is not uncommon to mistype your email address when signing up by typing .con instead of .com , for instance. Whatever you typed when you signed up will be your username. If a mistake was made and you wish to change your details please email help@danceyourselfdizzy.com

Passwords are case sensitive so make sure that you are entering your password exactly as you typed it when signing up.
When you chose your password did it begin or contain any capital letters. If so then you need to enter your password using exactly the same letter case when you try to log in.

If you are in any doubt as to what your password is, click the Forgotten Password link, enter the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up and your password will be mailed to you at that address.

Problem
You enter your login details in the appropriate boxes and click login but nothing happens and the login box clears itself.

Solution

To add the members area to your list of 'Trusted Sites' using Internet Explorer

Click the Tools menu at the top of the browser window
Click Internet Options
Click Security
Click Trusted Sites then Click the Sites button
in the 'Add this Web Site' box enter http://www.dydmembers.com, make sure that the Require Server Verification (https:) box is unticked.
Then click Add

You may then need to refresh the page and you should be OK. If you are using different software and need similar instruction to reduce your setting please e-mail the address at the bottom of this page, stating the name and version of you internet browser software, and we may be able to supply similar instructions.

Other possible solutions to try

Please make sure that you are viewing the most recent pages.
This can be done by using the refresh button on your browser. If you are being shown older versions of pages the links on them may no longer work.

Please make sure that you have tried to access the members area using the Login button on our site rather than existing bookmarks.
If you have tried to access the members area from pages that you have bookmarked or have previously placed in your Favourites Folder you may be directed to pages that no longer exist or that have been updated. If this is the case you may be seeing old pages containing old links which will no longer work. Please use the Login Button on the main site. You can then bookmark any new or different pages for future use.

If you have checked all of the above but continue to have difficulties please contact the email address below including the following information.

  • Your Full Name
  • The approximate date that you joined the Members Area,
  • The operating system of your computer. i.e. Windows XP etc
  • Any other details that might be relevant such as  the behaviour of the pages or any error messages that you see
  • Please also let us know if you are viewing the pages from a computer that might have a Firewall installed such as on an office network.

We try to answer all emails as soon as possible so if you have not received a response within 24 hours please email again.
